Data Hub Tourism

Independent analysis of Caribbean tourism performance

Services

We work with destinations, hotel groups, airlines, development agencies and investors who need Caribbean tourism data interpreted rather than simply supplied.

Most engagements begin with a question rather than a brief. If you are weighing a route, a rate strategy, a capital decision or a policy position, tell us what you are trying to decide and we will tell you what the data can and cannot settle.

The Hub

Access your customised dashboard

The Hub brings the numbers that matter into one place, kept up to date with every new data cycle, and written so that the movement is explained rather than left for you to decode. It covers demand, airlift, accommodation performance and whichever indicators you choose to track.

The scale is yours to set. A single property or operator may want a focused view of its own competitive set. A ministry, tourism authority, development agency or hotel group may want the whole picture in one place, every source market it competes for, every route into the country, and the indicators it reports on publicly, maintained as a standing service rather than a one off build.

For clients who work with us continuously, The Hub sits inside a wider arrangement. The dashboard carries the regular reporting, and we stay available for the questions that arrive between cycles, whether a cabinet note, a board paper, a route case or a press enquiry.

What we do

Market and demand analysis

Source market mix, visitor demand modelling, and the sensitivity of arrivals to external shocks.

Answers where demand is coming from, and what would have to happen for it to change.

Airlift and capacity intelligence

Forward scheduled capacity by airport and by carrier, route economics, and connectivity exposure.

Built from schedules and traffic data rather than announcements.

Accommodation performance

Occupancy, rate and revenue benchmarking, supply pipeline exposure, and the short-term rental question.

Includes an assessment of how representative a reporting panel actually is.

Economic impact and policy analysis

The contribution of tourism to output, employment and foreign exchange, and appraisal of the evidence behind a proposed policy or investment.

Useful where a case has to survive scrutiny from a ministry, a board or a lender.

Commissioned studies and surveys

Visitor surveys, exit surveys and bespoke primary research where the data does not yet exist, including questionnaire design, fieldwork management and analysis.

For the questions no existing dataset has been built to answer.

Rates for smaller operators

We hold a reduced rate for micro, small and medium enterprises. It applies across every service above, including The Hub, and it exists because the operators who carry most of the sector are usually the ones with least access to paid data.

Available to single property hotels and guesthouses, tour and ground operators, dive and marine businesses, community tourism enterprises, and early stage ventures. Tell us your size when you write to us and we will quote accordingly.

Discuss a project with us

Tell us the decision in front of you. We will say what the data can support, what it cannot, and what it would take to close the gap.
